My aim is to work with individuals to increase coping in the present with careful consideration of how their past has impacted their current strategies and relationship patterns. I aspire to create a safe space for my clients to improve insight, explore their thoughts, and promote positive change towards a greater sense of wellbeing and mental health.
I currently provide individual therapy to those 18 years and older. I work with issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, identity, and relationship difficulties. I use a trauma informed, client-centred approach ad draw on a variety of skills from several therapeutic modalities, including EMDR.

Our brain and body can protect us from danger, but when the pain becomes too much for us to handle, we can often feel stuck and unable to move forward. When we are struggling more than we can cope, it is easy to feel isolated, powerless, and hopeless. You don’t have to do it alone; I will hold and provide a safe space for you. Together we will honour all parts of you and determine your unique path to healing. While healing looks different for everybody, it is my goal to assist you in embracing your true self.
I currently provide individual counselling for people who are experiencing trauma, grief, attachment issues, life transitions, systemic oppression and other challenges related to mental health. To better support you, I draw on eclectic therapeutic approaches including EMDR, ACT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy, among others. I strongly believe that you are the expert in your own life and will work with what approach works best for you.
I support clients through a trauma-informed and relationship-focused approach. This involves working collaboratively to create a space where clients can express themselves honestly and have room to explore their thoughts, feelings, and struggles. This is accomplished by exploring emotional patterns, significant life events, and physiological processes to help clients better understand themselves and develop coping strategies.
I currently provide therapy to couples, youth and adolescents (12+), and adults. My approach draws from several different modalities, including Emotion-Focused Therapy and narrative Therapy to help clients walk through and understand their experiences. I work with issues relating to stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. I am also experienced with supporting members of the LGBTQ+ community and welcome clients who are navigating non-heteronormative identities and relationships.
